The Dundalk-Eastfield Eastern Baltimore County Over 40 Baseball League was established in 2010. Over 40 Baseball is a fast pitched baseball league that plays on 90’ baseball diamonds in the Dundalk/Essex area. We use wood bats and use that same rules as the pros… with slight modifications. Our games are played on Sunday morning, at 9 AM. We play one 9 inning game staring in April and will play into August. At the conclusion of the season, there is a play-off tournament, which all teams participate in.
The league is for anyone who will turn 40 years of age or older in that given year of play. The league was founded on fun, fairness, and for the enjoyment of baseball. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy baseball and have a fantastic experience. Players of all abilities and experience are welcome.
Players can substitute in and out of the field at all times during the game. The field is limited to 9 players, but the hitting line-up is unlimited. So everyone gets a chance to bat that wants to play.
The registration fee for the 2024 season is $185. The registration fee covers the costs of umpires and baseballs. Uniforms are up to the individual teams, and may have additional costs. All you need is a glove, baseball shoes, uniform, and a desire to play. See our Registration Page to sign up. Notices, cancellations, and delays will be posted on social media when they become available.
